At the Dig Site, you can find more than just Forgotten Valley history. You can sell any extra items for cash.
Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life has a lot of things to do, but one of the extra things you can do is take part in the historical dig at the Dig Site. Carter and Flora want to find stone tablets that tell the past of the area. If you help them look, you can keep any treasures you find.
Each year, the prize you find at the Dig Site gets more valuable, so make sure you dig often to keep the money coming in. We’ve put together a list of the eight Dig Site finds that sold for the most money.
Strange Object

First Available | Year Four |
---|---|
Sale Price (G) | 300 |
The first thing on our list is one that lives up to its name. What is it? Strange Objects are usually easy to figure out because they stick up out of the ground. And by the end of Year Four, it’s not a bad thing if your finds are predictable.
The Strange Object is in your Encyclopedia with the Magatama Stone, which is also a stone. If you dig up a few of these on your next trip, you’ll always find something to sell.
Hexagonal Ore

First Available | Year Three |
---|---|
Sale Price (G) | 400 |
Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life gives you a unique sense of progress as you watch the bright, geode-like ores you’ve been finding at the Dig Site get more valuable over time. But it’s a great feeling to go from finding a lot of Sugarstar Ores to doubling your selling price with the Hexagonal Ore.
This pretty prize is another treasure that’s easy to find if it’s sticking out of the ground when you arrive at the Dig Site for the day. Aim for it every time for a nice payout.
Mete-Ore

First Available | Year Five |
---|---|
Sale Price (G) | 800 |
Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life gives you a unique sense of progress as you watch the bright, geode-like ores you’ve been finding at the Dig Site get more valuable over time. But it’s a great feeling to go from finding a lot of Sugarstar Ores to doubling your selling price with the Hexagonal Ore.
Another easy-to-find treasure, if it’s sticking out of the ground when you get to the Dig Site for the day, this pretty prize is always worth 400g.
Golden Fork

First Available | Year One |
---|---|
Sale Price (G) | 1,000 |
When you finally get to the golden artifacts in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, you’ll find out quickly that the golden objects hidden each year are without a doubt the most important of the year. This starts right away in Year One, when Golden Forks sell for a lot of money.
So early in Penalty Kick Online, 1,000g is a lot of money. With all the upgrades and new animals, it can be hard to keep track of everything, so give these to Van or the people who come to your shop as soon as you can.
Golden Comb

First Available | Year Two |
---|---|
Sale Price (G) | 1,500 |
The Golden Comb is one of the easier things to pull out of the ground if it’s already sticking up, which is a good thing. The first time you can get it is in Year Two, which is also the first time the Dig Site grows if you’ve been digging for the past year.
A good way to make the most of your limited time at the Dig Site each day is to have something to work toward as the Dig Site grows and you find all the treasures.
Golden Fish

First Available | Year Three |
---|---|
Sale Price (G) | 2,000 |
By the time you start finding Golden Fish at the Dig Site in Year Three, you’ve probably figured out how to keep the project growing. In Year Three, too, you’ll find that the site has grown a lot when you get there on the first day.
There are still a lot of changes to be made to the Dig Site, but Year Three feels like you’ve found your groove. It could also be the first time someone offers you a Blessed Tool in trade for a golden relic, so choose one you won’t miss too much and give it to them. If you can, use a relic that costs less.
Golden Crown

First Available | Year Four |
---|---|
Sale Price (G) | 2,500 |
Like the Golden Fork, the Golden Crown is one of the easiest things to find at the Dig Site when you come for your daily digging duty. Since the golden spikes sticking out of the ground are pretty easy to spot, there’s no shame in starting the day there.
By Year 4, finding the last few tablets may have been more important than finding golden objects, but you should always stop to dig for gold when you see spikes at the Dig Site. Those spikes always mean money.
Golden Bear

First Available | Year Five |
---|---|
Sale Price (G) | 3,000 |
The most expensive thing you can find at the Dig Site is locked behind five years of game progress, but the Golden Bear sells for 3,000g each. It takes some time and care to finally dig down to it, but once you do, you’ll keep finding Golden Bears until you stop working at the Dig Site.
Even in Year Five, 3,000g is not something to laugh at. When you think that crops usually sell for three-digit numbers, having something so valuable that you can dig up for free is pretty amazing. We won’t say no to a few thousand G!
